College Committee
The Admission Committee is responsible for the graduate student admission and they develop the contact with the relevant graduate to identify them with the potential candidates to make our Nation as our own society. The committee reviews admission requirements for the upcoming world. The standard of admission will be changed by the recommendations of the committee members according to the updated generation did by the discussion.
The Examination Committee takes care of various examinations conducted by the college and Thiruvalluvar University. The committee deals with the time table, seating arrangement, timing, content, evaluation and internals of exams.
Library Committee plays an important role in the young minds to create an good environment for learning. The committee created a very calm and disciplined atmosphere which helps the students to concentrate on their studies.
The main function of the committee is to support the various educational programs and to develop the students’ skills in locating and using information.
Also the committee is very keen about stimulating the development of the students in aesthetic values and in ethical standard.
The Certificate course committee is responsible for monitoring the students effectively in their curriculum to have a change when necessary in their courses. The committee also sees to the course content or to the deletion or to the addition of the course we provide in our campus
Our college keeping in mind number of students, hostels and hostel blocks shall constitute a number of Anti-Ragging squads as it deem sufficient to implement Anti-Ragging measures effectively.
Anti-Ragging squad shall comprise of our Principal, Vice-Principal, senior faculty members and responsible representatives of senior students.
The function of Anti-Ragging squad will include taking around, patrolling the college campus and the common areas in the academic/administrative/hostel/mess of the college, maintain vigil at all times on all days by rotation as decided by Committee and take action if they notice any incidents of Ragging inside the campus.
Our college belongs to a tradition dedicated to the pursuit and cultivation of learning a few simple principles-academic integrity, mutual respect and civility, personal responsibility- lie at the heart of our discipline committee
Each of us-students, faculty and staff-is pledged to live up with these standards and to support each others’ efforts in this regard.
Discipline committee take these values seriously and is committed to helping I year students in particular.
Our Discipline committee members enable mutual respect and personal responsibility for the ongoing success of our educational mission.
Knowledge sharing committee enriches the knowledge through exchanging among people, friends, families, communities and organization. This platform provides an environment to enable our knowledge from formal learning and by sharing the informal knowledge in single location. The committee also concentrates to stimulate the innovation and growth, to enable the better and faster decision making.
Fine Arts Association of our College is of a students’ committee which provides opportunity for the students to explore their talents through cultural events and competitions. The Fine Arts Association has Various Teams namely Theatre Events, Literary Events, Quiz, Music Events, Dance Events, Painting Events, Film Making and Photography. Each Team comprises of Event Professors as event in-charges and Students as student secretaries and performers.
Activities of Fine Arts Association
To excel as a culturally proficient institution among academic organizations across the nation and to provide equal platforms for both the interested and talented students in music, dance and theatre, so that they grow in confidence through artistic expression, ignite their creativity and originality and evolve into better thinking and creative beings. Committee also provides big platforms for signature talents and to inculcate leadership skills of taking initiatives, and to develop organizing skill to reach out to the society through creative expression.
The main motives of sports and games activities is to create an environment that stimulates selected movement experiences resulting undesirable responses that contribute to the optimal development of the individuals potentialities in all the faces of life.
The charges of the committee are to assist and encourage the students to participate in organizing and conducting various sports and games both indoor and outdoor in the college.
The committee functions to create zeal amongst students and faculty members towards sports.
The committee aspires to inculcate qualities such as sportsmanship, team spirit and bonding. It also provides necessary infrastructure for the sports and it promotes team spirit by making healthy competition.
The Function Committee takes care of all the celebrations, activities and common functions carried out in the campus. They also look after that the students should grab the traditional values through the functions conducted with the ethical values in their minds.
The Competition Committee is a place where students get stimulation for their creativity. The competition aims to create a greater approach to deal with the Social Problems, visionary ideas, humanitarian causes, sociological problems of the contemporary society. Here the students get a great opportunity to challenge their skills, inspire growth in themselves, to motivate the highest in their life and lot to achieve to do more.
The Campus Maintenance Committee looks after the physical environment of the campus which undergoes the service of the carpentry, electrical, plumbing, masonry, insulation, preventive maintenance and special laboratory equipment repair etc.,
