About Us
The Ashram
Sri Sarada Ashram was established with the core objectives of promoting and developing the poor and the backward villages by means of quality education,strong health promotion and disease prevention, cultural and socio-economic development activities, agricultural development and providing timely relief during natural disasters.
Located at Ulundurpet, on the Chennai-Trichy National Highway in Tamilnadu, the Ashram houses 45 Sanyasin Sisters and offer services to the remotest villages in and around the place. Over 1500 students and 1000 women are given schooling, vocational training and job-oriented career guidance and coaching annually.
Vision :
The well trained women of our institution will create a marvellous social structure by keeping the dharmic principles of our Ancient Bharath as its foundation and be a connecting chord with all social values by enforcing them in their profession and the family structure.
Mission:
Imparting Society Oriented, Carrier Oriented, Family Oriented and Personality Oriented Education on the basis of our national heritage with the modern outlook of science and technology, every aspect will reflect our Indian standard which will excel even the International standard.

The Synthesis and assimilation of treasured values in the old Indian tradition and the tested universal elements of the modern western advancement is the need of the hour. Sri Sarada Mahavidyalayam is established to provide such education to the girls by creating a linkage between Knowledge and Human values.
